My days go into turning half-formed requirements into stories a team can build, and then proving that what shipped is what the business actually meant.
Early in the career, deliberate about the craft.
Most delivery problems aren't engineering problems — they're a requirement that meant two different things to two different people. My first year has been about catching that early: reading the business process before the screens, writing acceptance criteria specific enough to argue with, and testing the workflow end to end rather than field by field.
A data science background. I can sit with engineers on an SAP integration boundary or a model's behaviour and still walk into a stakeholder review speaking in business outcomes — no interpreter in the middle. I'd rather ask the naive question in week one than discover the gap in UAT.
